Dog Boarding

$19.00 per night

We provide a clean, safe, extra large kennel run for your dog that is temperature controlled. Your dog has fresh water at all times, and our food is included in the price. Your dog also receives a clean, comfortable raised bed (Kennel Deck). The boarding rate also includes outside time in our large play area, and a bedtime treat at night. Your pet receives much attention, as staff are continually involved with your pet throughout the day. We lead the pets from their private kennel run to our outside fenced areas by leash, ensuring lots of one on one attention. Soothing, soft surround sound music is playing at all times for your pets comfort. Kennel runs are cleaned and disinfected in the morning and spot cleaned throughout the day to ensure your pet stays clean and dry at all times.

Cat Boarding

$15.00 per night (limited availability)

We provide limited Cat boarding at this time until our cat room remodeling project is finished. Please call for availability.

Doggie Daycare

$12.00 (limited availability)

Doggie Daycare is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 8am and 6pm. Daycare cost is $12.00 for the day and Includes one on one attention with our staff. Our Daycare dogs are kept in the kennel room near our boarding dogs. We keep them active and occupied all day. Doggie Daycare is a great option for a very active dog, or even a shy dog who needs socialization. Doggie Daycare is limited over the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays subject to availability.

Additional Services

Playtime-Exercise

$5.00 per 15 minute session

Playtime-Exercise sessions are available for any pet owner who wants their dog to have lots of one-on-one attention. Our sessions are $5.00 for a 15 minute session with a member of our staff. We tailor the playtime to your dog. Some dogs love to run and play fetch while our older guests just want to be cuddled. There is no limit to playtime sessions, dog owners usually sign up their pet for 1-3 playtimes per day.

Cookies & Ice Cream

$3.00 Each

Cookies & Ice Cream is a nice treat for your dog while boarding with us. They are $3.00 each. Your dog will receive our all natural homemade Ice Cream Treat and 2 milk bone biscuits. This service is available daily, or could be given on a special date during your dogs stay.

Check Out Time

12:00 Noon, additional day charged for pets picked up after check out time.

Pets checking out after noon will be charged an additional day, regardless of check in time, much like a hotel.

Medication

$2.00 extra per day

Pet owners must provide their pet's medications and dosage instructions at check-in. We charge an additional $2.00 per day for any required doses. We put pill form medications in meatballs or cheese and watch to make sure your pet eats it. Make sure you notify us if your pet has any food allergies! Some pet owners provide their own pill "disguise" and we will use anything you provide. We accept any medications that are pill based or topical. Please inquire if your pet requires an injected medication.

Special Diet

$1.00 extra per day

During our busy times, it can take us an hour or more to load our food cart. The easier you make it for us, the more time we can spend with your pet. We feed Pedigree small crunchy bites dry food.

After Hours Fee

$30.00 to $60.00 per pet by appointment

If you desire to drop off or pick up your pet any time outside of our normal business hours, we charge a $30.00 after hours fee per pet and time must be set by appointment only. We charge a $60.00 fee per pet for any after hours services on a Holiday or dates we are closed. An after hours fee is necessary when an employee must stay after our normal business hours to accommodate a pet owner.

Multiple Pet Discount

$1.00 off per pet, per day, same owner

We can accommodate additional pets sharing the same kennel run. We offer a multiple-pet discount of $1.00 off per pet/per day for dogs who board together. Sorry, we can only allow same-species pets to share kennel runs. We do offer playtime sessions for dogs & cats boarded from the same family.

Toys & Personal Items

We welcome your pet's belongings during their stay with us. However, because we deal with MANY toys and personal items each week, we would appreciate it if you could do the following:

• Mark all toys and personal items with your pet's name.
• Only bring items that can be washed in hot water, and won't be missed if they get lost, soiled, or destroyed.
• Please limit your pets' items to a reasonable number. We are an active boarding facility, and many pets have too much fun and sometimes won't play with all of their toys.
• Check that you have all belongings when you pick up your pet.

Bedding

We do not allow any bedding. Your pet receives a raised bed (kennel Deck) during his/her stay. Please notify us if your pet is a blanket chewer/shredder, as we also use rubber backed sheepskin rugs for your pets' comfort. All bedding is washed daily.

Pet Age Limits for Boarding

We will board puppies as young as 8-12 weeks old. They must have at least 2 DHLPP boosters before boarding. Any puppy who reaches 4 months old at the time of boarding must also have Rabies & Bordetella. We do not have an age limit for our older guests, but request that owners boarding older dogs or dogs who have had health troubles please inform us of the health history, special needs for your pet, and your preferences in case of an emergency. A $3.00 per day special needs fee will apply for any pet who requires additional assistance.

24 Hour Security

We offer 24 hour security at Greater Peoria Pet Resort, Inc. At anytime there is a storm or excessive barking when the pets are normally quiet, we will check on the pets, day or night. Although we have staff at GPPR 24 hours a day, please respect our normal business hours.

Unscheduled Early Pick Up

A 24 hour notice is required for any pet being picked up before the scheduled departure date. If notice is not given, you will be charged for your entire stay, including any extras you have agreed to. If your pet has been scheduled for a bath, and you notify us of an early departure, the bath will only be done if time permits.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice for any cancellation. Failure to cancel results in a "no show" and we charge a $25.00 per pet no show fee.

After Hours Policy

Please respect our normal business hours. If you have a legitimate emergency, call 693-9123 and leave a message. We will call you as soon as possible. If you do not remember our normal business hours, or choose to ignore them, we will refuse to board your pet in the future. Prescheduled after hours fee is $30.00 per pet and $60.00 per pet on Holidays and Holiday weekends with minimum stay requirements.

Payment Policy-Return Check Charge

Our normal payment policy allows you to drop off your pet, and pay the total due upon pick up. Any balance due must be paid at the time of pick up. We do not have the ability to bill clients. We accept cash, personal check with ID, and mastercard and visa. We charge a $25.00 service fee on all NSF checks.

New Customer Deposit

We require a $25.00 deposit for a new customer boarding over a Holiday. This fee will hold your reservation and will be used towards your boarding bill. If you cancel your reservation, we hold the deposit until the next time you board with us. If you do not cancel or use your reservation, we keep the fee as our pet no show fee.

Pet Emergency

In the event we have an emergency with your pet while staying with us, we will take them to the Veterinarian you listed on our boarding contract or Tri-County Emergency Animal Clinic. We will attempt to contact you by the cell and emergency numbers you provided us. Please make sure to keep all of your information current with us. It is the pet owners responsibility to pay any Veterinary charges.

Off Season Hours

From January 1 until March 31, if all pets have checked in and out for the day, we may close early. Please call for any last minute boarding reservations to make sure we are still open for the day during the Winter season.
